I always wanted to be a car designer

Growing up I always wanted to be a car designer and I think from my extensive Hot Wheels collection and my hot rod influences as a kid, my cars would have probably ended up looking like these ones: colourful and cool.

Born to be creative.

Creativity isn’t something that you can learn from a book. You can be inspired from a book but I doubt there is a formula out there to learn how to be creative. Is there a “Creative for Dummies” book out there. Maybe. But for the most part, we feel that its something that you are born with and have to nurture through your life if you choose to make something out of it. Some do. Some don’t…but maybe wish they had as they slog through a job that’s uninspiring. However you may choose to express your creativity, be it graphic design, painting, photography, sculpture, etc, its something that is in you and will likely always be and it will come out in one form or another.

Here’s a good link to some habits of creative people.

Idlewyld Inn Logo
With over 34,000 logos entered for consideration and an international panel of judges, the logo for The Idlewyld Inn designed by Carve has been chosen to be included in the sixth volume of Logo Lounge.
Being recognized for logo development on an international level is pretty cool. Thanks to Christine at Idlewyld Inn for working with Carve to develop their new branding. www.idlewyldinn.com
